A beautiful, sentimental collaboration with my Father :-) He wrote this song in appreciation for the Griqua folks who hosted him and several other hang-gliding pilots somehwere in a one horse town in the Kalahari. Such a beautiful tribute to family & our land, I am overjoyed to have recorded this song together.
A chance encounter with this brilliant reggae band from France, backstage during their African Tour in 2010, resulted in us co-writing a track which includes guest artists Seven RaggaSouljah & Rude Bobo Boss of 'The Rudimentals'! :-)
A song I wrote in 2008, as an anthem of appreciation to the Unity that is growing in our land thanks to the Love of Madiba and all who strive to build the South Africa he dreams of. Let's show the whole world that Love can make us whole! <3 Mondli Ngcobo kindly recorded&produced the song for me. Written after three experiences that happened one-after-the-other : The blessed, yet equally disturbing experience of kissing a dolphin in captivity ; Helping a sangoma, among others, during their 3-day healing ceremony for which I was a drummer; & losing a childhood friend in a motor-accident... I still think of you, Gambit ; Gogo-Love & darling Lee. X

This is one of my most treasured collabrations ever.The photo is of a room in a house where the likes of myself, Ben, Martin Wolfhardt, Guy Buttery, Meri Kenaz & the Peace of Eden family shared our National Arts Fest times of eating,sleeping,rehearsing,jamming& more. After the fest, Ben invited me to visit his home in Pletternberg Bay and record a song or two, something I will never regret saying yes to. In an hour, we had four beautiful pieces of music.
